Donna Vo Sotomayor, Owner & Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern
About Wallflower
Wallflower Counseling® was founded by big dreams to create better and new beginnings.
I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. I pursued a degree in therapy as a result of my own lived experiences and personal interest. As someone who grew up with divorced parents at a young age, I knew the significance that relationships play in our lives.
As an Asian American, my goal is to raise mental health awareness and help other BIPOC folk do the same through relational healing, personal growth, and quality therapy that is also accessible to people in my community.
I earned my Master’s in Education and Education Specialist degree with a concentration on Marriage & Family Therapy at UF in 2023. I am now a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (#IMT4120), working under the supervision of Colette McLeod, LMHC (#14616).
I work with BIPOC Gen Z and Millennials who experience relational concerns, life transitions, depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem.
In my spare time, I enjoy going to the beach and parks with my husband, exploring new places, and spending time with my dog.
